Brighten your path forward

Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Christian-Integrated Therapy

Serving Spokane and the State of Washington

Hi! I’m Conner

The first thing that I want you to know about me is that I am passionate about stories. Each and every person is on a journey that is unique to them and it is a joy for me to work alongside my clients to help them process both the joys and the tragedies. Listening to your experiences, fostering clarity, and working alongside you to help you meet your goals will be my focus as a clinician.

Sometimes we reach a point in life where we encounter challenges that feel hard to overcome and continue moving forward. Whether these obstacles are new or feel like they’ve been present for a while you deserve a space to be able to share authentically, be received compassionately, and most importantly keep moving forward.

I believe that therapy can be a rigorous yet transformative space, where you get to invest in yourself and your growth in an intentional way. It is my desire to create a space where we can navigate and explore whatever trials you are facing.

As a therapist you will find that I meet my clients with genuineness, empathy, and curiosity. I want my clients to feel comfortable in the therapeutic space and do everything I can to foster an environment that feels welcoming, non-judgmental and supportive. My clients decide what it is they want to work towards as I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to empower you find your own answers.

As someone who grew up in the PNW, I love the outdoors. Whether it be hiking, sports, or simply hanging out, being outside is where I find myself at ease. I spent time in California when completing my undergraduate studies, but found that I missed the trees, weather, and seasons. Coming back to work in the area that I grew up in is a privilege. I now live in Spokane with my wife, and our two animals - a mini Australian Shepherd, and a cat - chickens are a recent addition too. When I’m not seeing clients you can find me hiking, cooking, leather-working, or reading.

Education and Modalities

My guiding principles are compassion, genuineness, non-judgement, and balance.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I am trained to view the world and my clients systemically. I not only see you as an individual but the various systems that have worked to shape you and your experience of the world.

For those who are interested in modalities, I like to pull from the humanistic person-centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Existential Psychology. I always invite my clients to bring to the table ideas, modalities, and treatments that they feel interested in or want to explore.

I am a graduate of Whitworth’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program, and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). I am Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1 trained as well as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) Level 1 trained.  Additionally, I am certified to provide Telemedicine by the Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center (NRTRC).
